PSLF Employment Certification Forms – A PSLF form is A form that you have to complete in order to be eligible for the Public Service The Loan Forgiveness Programme. The PSLF is a program that allows you to receive your loans for free upon completion of 10 consecutive years. In order to be eligible the program, you must work full-time for a qualified employer and be able to make 120 timely payments.
If you’re not certain of what constitutes a qualifying employer, then these are the things that meet the criteria:
-Your government employer
-A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public health or non-profit health care institution
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to File For PSLF Employment Certification Forms?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF for those who have a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You may be able apply for PSLF with only 10 qualifying installments, but you must apply for it at the beginning of the 10th year of the repayment period.
There is no requirement to be a candidate for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 payments prior to filing for it.
