PSLF Full Time Employment – The PSLF form is a form that you will need to complete in order to be eligible for the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is a program that allows you to have your loans forgiven within 10 years after you have served. When you are eligible to join this program, you must work full-time for a qualified employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you are not sure which qualifies as an employer that qualifies, these are the items that can be considered qualifying:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A non-profit or public health-care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
What is the deadline to file for PSLF Full Time Employment?
You can qualify to apply for PSLF depending on whether you’ve got an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You may be able to file for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payments, but you must apply for it during the first 10 years after the start of your repayment period.
You do not have to file for PSLF when you begin your repayment period. You are able to wait until you’ve completed 120 payments before filing.
