When do I need to File For PSLF Income Verification Form?

You are eligible to apply for PSLF in the event that you have a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying payment on the loan. You might be able to apply for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payment, but you must apply for it within the first 10 years of your repayment period.

You do not need to be a candidate for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 transactions before submitting your application.
