PSLF Income Verification Form – It is the PSLF form is a form that you will need to fill in to get the Public Service loan forgiveness program. The PSLF is the program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness following 10 years’ service. For you to qualify for this program, you must complete your full-time job for a reputable employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you’re not sure about what qualifies as an employer with a qualified status, these are the items you can consider:
-Your government employer
• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A non-profit, public health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to File For PSLF Income Verification Form?
You are eligible to apply for PSLF in the event that you have a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying payment on the loan. You might be able to apply for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payment, but you must apply for it within the first 10 years of your repayment period.
You do not need to be a candidate for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 transactions before submitting your application.
