You are eligible for PSLF for those who have an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You could be eligible to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying repayments, but you must file for it prior to the 10 years that begin your repayment period.
There is no requirement to be a candidate for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 payments before submitting for it.
