PSLF Lump Sum Payment – Form PSLF PSLF form is a form that you have to fill in to qualify for the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is an opportunity for you to get your loans repaid in the event of 10 years’ continuous service. If you want to participate in this program, you need to complete your full-time job for a reputable employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you’re uncertain about what is a qualifying employer, then here are some of the things that are eligible:
-Your government employer
It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A non-profit or public health organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to File For PSLF Lump Sum Payment?
You can qualify to apply for PSLF for those who have one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You may be able to apply for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying loans, however, you must apply for it before the end of the repayment period.
You do not need to apply for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You are able to wait until you’ve completed 120 installments before filing for it.
