The PSLF is program that allows you the forgiveness of your loans after 10 years of service. When you are eligible to join this program, you need to be employed full-time with a qualifying employer and pay 120 on-time payments.

When do I have to File For PSLF Memorial Hermann?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF If you hold a loan that is eligible and you have made the required 120 payments on that loan. You could be eligible to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying repayments, but the application must be filed in the initial 10 years following the repayment period.
You do not need to apply for PSLF before the commencement of your loan period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 payments before filing for it.
