When do I have to file for PSLF News Today?
You can qualify to file for PSLF when you own an eligible loan and have made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. It’s possible to apply for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying repayments, but you must apply prior to the 10 years that begin your repayment period.
You don’t have to submit a claim for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 installments before filing for it.
