PSLF Part Time Employment – The PSLF form is the form that you will need to fill in you can be eligible for the public service Invoice Forgiveness. The PSLF is the program that allows you the forgiveness of your loans upon completion of 10 consecutive years. To be eligible for this program, you need to work full-time for a qualifying employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you are not sure which qualifies as an employer that is qualified, below are some items that count:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
-An un-profit or public health-care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
What is the deadline to file for PSLF Part Time Employment?
You are eligible to apply for PSLF if you have the qualifying loan and can make 120 qualifying payments on that loan. You might be able to apply for PSLF after making only 10 qualifying payment, but you must file for it prior to the 10 years that begin your repayment period.
There is no requirement to fill out a form for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 transactions before submitting your application.
