When do I need to File For PSLF Payment Tracking?
You can qualify for PSLF if you have a qualifying loan and make 120 qualifying payments on that loan. You might be able to apply for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying loans, however, you must apply in the initial 10 years following your repayment period.
There is no requirement to make an application for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 transactions before submitting your application.
