PSLF Private School – This PSLF form is a form that you will need to fill out in order to receive the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. The PSLF is program that allows you to have your loans forgiven within 10 years after you have served. If you want to participate in the program, you need to work full-time for a qualified employer and be able to make 120 timely payments.
If you’re unsure whether you are an employer that is qualified, here are some of the things that qualify:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A non-profit, public health-care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for PSLF Private School?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF If you hold one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made the required 120 payments on that loan. You may be able to apply for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying payment, but you must file for it prior to the 10 years that begin the repayment period.
You do not have to declare PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 payment before you file for it.
