PSLF Questions – The PSLF form is an application form you must complete in order to receive the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is program that allows you to have your loans forgiven in the event of 10 years’ continuous service. When you are eligible to join this program, you need to perform your job full-time at a qualified employer and pay 120 on-time payments.

If you’re unsure about what qualifies as a qualifying employer, then there are a few things that qualify:

-Your government employer

It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation

A public or non-profit health-care organization

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service

When do I need to File For PSLF Questions?

You’re eligible to apply to apply for PSLF when you own an eligible loan and have made 120 qualifying payment on the loan. It’s possible to apply for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying repayments, but you must apply for it before the end of your repayment period.

There is no requirement to file for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 payments before filing.
