What is the deadline to File For PSLF Reforms?
You’re eligible for PSLF If you hold a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying payments to that loan. It is possible to file for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying payment, but the application must be filed in the initial 10 years following the repayment period.
There is no requirement to fill out a form for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 payments prior to filing for it.
