When do I have to File For PSLF Report?
You can qualify to apply for PSLF when you own the qualifying loan and can make 120 qualifying payment on the loan. It’s possible to apply for PSLF after making only 10 qualifying payment, but you have to file for it during the first 10 years after the start of your repayment period.
You don’t have to file for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You are able to wait until you’ve completed 120 payments before submitting for it.
