PSLF Sallie Mae – The PSLF form is an form which you have to complete you can be eligible for the public service Loan Forgiveness Program. The PSLF is an opportunity for you to forgive your debts at the end of 10 years’ work. For you to qualify for this program, you need to work full-time for a qualified employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you’re not certain whether you are an employer that is qualified, below are some items you can consider:
-Your government employer
It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public health organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for PSLF Sallie Mae?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF If you hold a loan that is eligible and you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments on that loan. You may be able apply for PSLF with only 10 qualifying payments. However, you must file for it for it within 10 years from the commencement of your repayment period.
There’s no need to submit a claim for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 payments before filing for it.
