PSLF Success Stories – A PSLF form is a form that you will need to complete to apply for the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is an opportunity for you to be granted loan forgiveness after 10 years of service. In order to be eligible the program, you need to perform full-time work for a qualifying employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you’re not sure whether you are an employer that is qualified, these are the items which are considered to be qualifying:
-Your government employer
• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public or non-profit health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to File For PSLF Success Stories?
You can qualify to apply for PSLF when you own the qualifying loan and can make the required 120 payments on that loan. It’s possible to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payment, but you have to file for it prior to the 10 years that begin the repayment period.
You do not have to make an application for PSLF before the commencement of your loan period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 transactions before submitting your application.
