PSLF Temporary Waiver Form – The PSLF form is a form which you have to fill out to apply for the Public Service Credit Forgiveness Plan. The PSLF is the program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness following 10 years’ service. Before you can be considered eligible the program, you need to work full-time for a qualifying employer and be able to make 120 timely payments.

If you’re uncertain whether you are a qualifying employer, then here are some suggestions that qualify:

-Your government employer

• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation

A public health or non-profit health-care organization

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service

When do I have to File For PSLF Temporary Waiver Form?

You are eligible to file for PSLF when you own an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying payments to that loan. You could be eligible to file for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payment, but you must file prior to the 10 years that begin your repayment period.

You do not need to declare PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 transactions before submitting your application.
