You’re eligible to apply to file for PSLF If you hold an eligible loan and have made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You may be able to apply for PSLF by making just 10 qualifying loans, however, you have to file for it at the beginning of the 10th year of your repayment period.
It’s not necessary to make an application for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 installments before filing for it.
