The PSLF is program that allows you to forgive your debts following 10 years’ service. -An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to File For Public Service Loan Forgiveness Employer Form?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF If you hold an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. It is possible to file for PSLF with only 10 qualifying payments, however you must submit a request for it for it within 10 years from the commencement of your repayment period.
You do not need to file for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 payments prior to filing for it.
