When do I have to File For Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness Form?
You are eligible to file for PSLF if you have an eligible loan and have made 120 qualifying payments to that loan. You could be eligible to apply for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payment, but you must apply prior to the 10 years that begin your repayment period.
It’s not necessary to apply for PSLF before the commencement of your loan period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments before submitting for it.
