The PSLF is program that allows you to have your loan forgiven upon completion of 10 consecutive years. When you are eligible to join this program, you need to perform your job full-time at a qualified employer and make 120 on-time payments.

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to File For Student Loan Public Service Forgiveness Form?
You are eligible for PSLF for those who have an eligible loan and you make the required 120 payments on that loan. You could be eligible to apply for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying installments, but the application must be filed within the first 10 years of the repayment period.
You do not have to fill out a form for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments before submitting for it.
