Student Loans PSLF Form – This PSLF form is the form which you have to fill out to get the Public Service Credit Forgiveness Plan. The PSLF is program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness when you reach 10 years in service. The program is available to those who qualify. the program, you must perform full-time work for a qualifying employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you’re not sure regarding what qualifies as an employer that qualifies, these are the items which are considered to be qualifying:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public health or non-profit health care institution
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for Student Loans PSLF Form?
You are eligible to apply for PSLF if you have a qualifying loan and make 120 qualifying monthly payments on that loan. You may be eligible to apply for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying payments, but you must apply before the end of the repayment period.
You don’t have to file for PSLF when you begin your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments before filing.
