Upload Public Service Loan Forgiveness Form – A PSLF form is one form that you must complete in order to be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. The PSLF is the program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness in the event of 10 years’ continuous service. For you to qualify for this program, you must work full-time for an eligible employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you are not sure about what is an employer that is qualified, here are some of the things that meet the criteria:
-Your government employer
-A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public or non-profit health organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for Upload Public Service Loan Forgiveness Form?
You can qualify to file for PSLF only if you hold a qualifying loan and make 120 qualifying payment on the loan. You may be able to apply for PSLF with only 10 qualifying repayments, but you must apply in the initial 10 years following your repayment period.
You do not have to submit a claim for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until having made 120 installments before filing for it.
