Vice News PSLF – This PSLF form is one form that you need to fill out in order to participate in the Public Services Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is a program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness in the event of 10 years’ continuous service. If you want to participate in the program, you must perform your job full-time at a qualified employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you’re not certain about what is an employer that qualifies, these are the items that meet the criteria:
-Your government employer
-A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
-A non-profit or public health organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for Vice News PSLF?
You’re eligible to apply to apply for PSLF when you own an eligible loan and have made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You may be eligible to file for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payments, however you must submit a request for it before the end of your repayment period.
It’s not necessary to apply for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You can wait until having made 120 payments prior to filing for it.
