What Jobs Are Eligible For PSLF – PSLF form PSLF form is the form which you need to fill out to qualify for the Public Service loan forgiveness program. The PSLF is program that allows you to get your loans repaid following 10 years’ service. For you to qualify for the program, you need to work full-time for an eligible employer and be able to make 120 timely payments.
If you’re confused of what constitutes an eligible employer, these are the things that count:
-Your government employer
The organization is 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A public health or non-profit health care provider
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for What Jobs Are Eligible For PSLF?
You’re eligible to file for PSLF depending on whether you’ve got one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You may be able apply for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying loans, however, you must apply for it before the end of the repayment period.
You do not have to file for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 installments before filing for it.
