When do I need to file for What Nonprofits Qualify For PSLF?
You’re eligible for PSLF if you have an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying payments on that loan. You could be eligible to file for PSLF by making just 10 qualifying payments. However, you must file in the initial 10 years following your repayment period.
There is no requirement to submit a claim for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 transactions before submitting your application.
