The PSLF is the program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness when you reach 10 years in service. To be eligible for this program, you must work full-time for a qualifying employer and be able to make 120 timely payments.

A public or non-profit health organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for Which Idr Plan For PSLF?
You are eligible for PSLF If you hold an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You might be able to file for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying repayments, but you must submit a request for it during the first 10 years after the start of your repayment period.
You do not need to fill out a form for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 payments before filing.
