Who Can Sign My PSLF Form – The PSLF form is an application form which you need to complete in order to apply for the Public Service Credit Forgiveness Plan. The PSLF is an initiative that allows you to get your loans repaid upon completion of 10 consecutive years. In order to be eligible this program, you need to work full-time for an eligible employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you are not sure whether you are an employer that qualifies, here are some of the things which are considered to be qualifying:
-Your government employer
It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public or non-profit health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for Who Can Sign My PSLF Form?
You are eligible for PSLF in the event that you have one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying payments to that loan. You may be eligible to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying loans, however, you must file for it before the end of the repayment period.
You don’t have to file for PSLF before the commencement of your loan period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 payment before you file for it.
