The PSLF is an option that permits you the forgiveness of your loans upon completion of 10 consecutive years. To be eligible for the program, you need to work full-time for an eligible employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.

When do I have to file for Who Signs PSLF Form?
You can qualify for PSLF when you own one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying monthly payments on that loan. You may be able file for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying payment, but you must file for it within 10 years from the commencement of your repayment period.
You do not need to make an application for PSLF before the commencement of your loan period. You can wait until having made 120 payments before submitting for it.
